Ray J Says He Should Have Pressed The Boxing Match Against Fabolous In 2011

It has been ten years since the Floyd Mayweather versus Ortiz boxing match took place in Las Vegas. However, that was not the only fight that took place in Vegas that weekend. A fight between Ray J and Fabolous mixed it up as well, according to the Rap-Up.
The Bad blood between the two began when HBO aired a clip of Ray J performing his hit “One Wish” at a party thrown by Floyd Mayweather. During the airing of the program, Fabolous took to Twitter and tweeted, “Nah but Floyd saying we havin a concert in my living room & the camera cuts to Ray J singing ‘One Wish’ on the piano had me in tears!!”
Ray J was not too pleased with the tweet, and when he saw Fabolous, he elected to confront him at Diddy’s party in Vegas. But, instead, the two got into an altercation at the post-fight dinner.
That Monday, Ray J was a guest on The Breakfast Club and explained his side of the story. During the interview, according to the Rap-Up, Ray J used some choice words to describe Fabolous.
“When you want to disrespect me and the Money Team, and we got seven Rolls-Royces outside and we just made 350 racks on the [fight]… Don’t disrespect me. I’ma smack you up again fool,” said Ray J.
“When I seen him, I was with Floyd and 50 and he tried to say don’t touch me and I touched that ni**a,” he said. “I swear to God he runnin’ from me right now. I had a hundred fools outside of Moon [nightclub]. He never left the club. He was scared up in there. He tried to call the police.”
He later wanted to get a picture of Fab’s face.
The next day, Fabolous called into DJ Clue’s show and explained his side of the story, and according to Fab, there was no fight between.
On Saturday afternoon, Ray J said he should have pushed for the fight against Fabolous more in 2011 than he did.
“When the Fabolous s*** happened, Wack drove to Vegas and picked me up and drove me home because I was so embarrassed about the s***. So wack in the car said, listen, this is what we are going to blood,” said Ray J in the Sleepless in LA room on Clubhouse.
“Listen, we are about to do Ray J versus Fabolous pay per view. He said it before all this boxing stuff right now, and he told me that we should run the play. I’m like, come on, fam, I can’t do that s***. However, I really should have pressed it because that s*** would have opened it up.”
Wack then chimed in and explained why the pay-per-view didn’t happen.
“The Only reason why it didn’t happen was that when I called over to Fab and them, he didn’t want to fight,” said Wack 100.
Ray J shared that he didn’t want to fight either.
“I was so happy that he did not want to fight.”
“God bless everybody, we love everybody, and we are here for love.”
