Chris Oledude discovers confidence on a gentle stand in "We Will Get Through This"

A song of resolution in the face of hardship, need, and despair, “We Will Get Through This,” the latest single from Chris Oledude, arrives with a soft power that envelops long. The track follows up as the fifth single from his debut album “PREACHER MAN – VOL. 1,” and it marks a pivotal emotional shift in tone and purpose. The idea for “We Will Get Through This” is highly personal and comes from lived experience. During a one-year temporary administrative posting with a small not-for-profit mental health and drug and alcohol-focused corporation, Oledude saw firsthand the commitment, vision, and emotional burden that people carry when they try to help vulnerable people. As the assignment came to a close in August 2024, the song developed spontaneously.

Dedicated to the Philipstown Behavioral Health Hub in Cold Spring, NY, it addresses the invisible emotional labor of caregivers, families, and advocates.
