Nicki Knightz’s “Lonely Girls Hearts Club” Takes Hip-Hop on a Joyride.

Nicki Knightz latest musical release, “Lonely Girls Hearts Club,”  is an eight-track masterpiece that invites listeners to journey through the complex landscape of love, loss, and self-discovery. Teaming up once again with producer Henny Knightz, the duo crafts an emotionally charged experience that pushes the boundaries of genre and showcases Knightz’s evolving artistry.

The album opens with the atmospheric “Lonely Girls Hearts Club (Intro),” in her words, this track tells of how Nicki came to refer to herself as a ‘lonely girl’ relaying her experiences of council estate living and being painfully different from the accepted norms. This track is accompanied by a cinematic video which exhibits Nicki and three fellow ‘lonely girls’ that the world has turned its back on.

With the next track, “Along Came Molly”, Nicki Knightz gave a snippet showcase of her rap skills and a well-balanced lyrical rhythm with her husky vocals alongside an introduction of herself through her lyrics “outside I’m a shy girl, inside I’m a whole vibe”.

The album steps up with “Step With Me ft. Joe Jas”, in her words, this track is a nostalgic song with heavy influences from the much praised 00’s era with braggadocious lyrics, smooth tones and a catchy hook By JoeJas.

Collaboration with Tai on “You Want Me” highlights Knightz’s storytelling skills which explores the fantasy of a girl next door………… I guess I’ll leave this one out as a treasure chest for listeners and fans.

“Bigger Things ft Ivohé” is my favourite track on this album. The whole instrumentation is a standout for me and I just love how Knightz’s vocals remained calm throughout the song. Her lyrics “counting money that’s not mine”  just puts a smirk on my face and Ivohé brought the “I did what I’m supposed to do” vibe into the song.

Clocking in at just under 20 minutes, “Lonely Girls Hearts Club” is a concise yet impactful musical experience. This multi-layered project ends with P.O.V., also in Knightz’s words, it’s a song told from a perspective other than Nicki’s. “I created this song not from my own experience, but from a lot of females point of view that I have spoken with.

“Lonely Girls Hearts Club” is a testament to Nicki Knightz’s ability to captivate audiences with her authenticity and musical versatility. Strap in for a thrilling ride through the highs and lows of the heart – this is an album that demands repeat listens.
