Paolo: I’m so happy to have you because, honestly, we didn’t do. Did we not have one scene together in season two?
Sunjata: No we did not.
Paolo: but I think we were so close.
Sunjata: We were technically in a driving sequence together but we were in different cars. So, I mean that’s really doesn’t count.
Paolo: We had never like ever even came, I think not even for table reads or anything.
Sunjata: No, I mean you came and said hello to me that day.
Paolo: That’s right you
Sunjata: You came and knocked on my trailer.
“I have to tell that story, so I am a massive rescue me fan; one of my favorite shows, such a good show. So, when I heard you were coming on Ghost season two. I was like, oh my God, no way, like I gotta go meet him. So Mike had went home and I’m sitting in my trailer with LaToya who plays Diana Tajada and I heard your voice walk by and your trailer closed. I’m like oh my God like he’s in the trailer like I’m just gonna because we’ve been on the show for a while,” said Paolo.
“I’m gonna go just introduce [myself] you know welcome to the family all this stuff. I don’t know if you were on an important phone call or a business call but I went and knocked on your trailer and I was like hey man I just want to say like big fan like so excited to have you on the show this season like I love your work and you’re like oh thanks man cool. And I was like man yeah we’re excited he’s like yeah, cool. I’m like all right Ill talk to you later I went back to [my] trailer told LaToya it didn’t go well.”
Sunjata added, “In my defense, Toya was there. Maybe I was caught off guard by her because she’s so stunning. I got maybe that tongue-tied I couldn’t respond to your thing.”
