Knicks: Anne Hathaway’s Son Jack Learns the Perks and Pitfalls of Courtside Seats
Anne Hathaway's son Jack is already getting a taste of the courtside thrill - and a bit of its chaos! Hathaway and her four-year-old son attended the New York Knicks' game against the Chicago Bulls on November 13. At Madison Square Garden, there will be a Chicago Bulls game. Things got particularly exciting when Raptors forward Ogugua 'OG' Anunoby tumbled over the barrier and landed right in front of the Devil Wears Prada star and her son, sending young Jack's jaw dropping in surprise.
The announcers were quickly caught up in the playful moment.
“Anunoby’s scaring those along the sidelines,” one announcer chuckled, while another observed, “The lil kid was mesmerized. He couldn’t move.”
Hathaway's smile and gentle reassuring gesture to her son, rubbing his arm, demonstrated that even unexpected courtside surprises can be a heartwarming experience.
Hathaway, who has a child named Jack and a child named Jonathan with husband Adam Shulman, rarely shares her children's stories publicly. Hathaway explained why it's important to keep her sons out of the spotlight in an interview with PORTER magazine recently.
“It’s not just essential for my health — I’m on a team, it’s my family, and it’s not just about me,” she explained, emphasizing that her children deserve the space to shape their own lives. The Les Misérables star also opened up about the fertility struggles she faced before becoming a mom, revealing on social media during her second pregnancy that her journey had “not been a straight line.”Hathaway's focus is on family privacy and authenticity, balancing her public persona with her commitment to family. Hathaway is committed to creating a safe space for her family to grow, whether it's courtside surprises or deeper, personal challenges.
