A producer of LeBron’s improvised series The Shop: Uninterrupted says they shot an upcoming episode starring Kanye West after he perpetuated hate speech and stereotypes while filming. The announcement follows West’s wave of anti-Semitic outbursts that led to restrictions on its Twitter and Instagram accounts.
Maverick Carter, whose production company with James, SpringHill Company, produced The Shop, stated in Andscape, “After talking to Kanye directly the day before we taped, I believed he was capable of a respectful discussion and he was ready to address all his recent comments. Unfortunately, he used The Shop to reiterate more hate speech and extremely dangerous stereotypes.”
The statement added, “We have made the decision not to air this episode or any of Kanye’s remarks. While The Shop embraces thoughtful discourse and differing opinions, we have zero tolerance for hate speech of any kind and will never allow our channels to be used to promote hate. I take full responsibility for believing Kanye wanted a different conversation and apologize to our guests and crew. Hate speech should never have an audience.”
On Wednesday, West elected to grab some soul food in the hood by himself, according to DJ Akademiks’ IG page.
“Kanye pulled up in the hood to get some soul food … dolo.”
Now according to Candace Owens, Ye was kicked out of JP Morgan Chase bank.
“I was told there was no official reason given, but they sent this letter as well to confirm that he has until late November to find another place for the Yeezy empire to bank,” said Owens.
I have blacked out the names of the other two people on his team that are named in this letter to protect their privacy. As I gather my thoughts about this, I want to say that I do not care what you think about Ye West— but I very much care what you think about this.
