The Verzuz battle has been a new phenomenon during the COVID-19 pandemic. It has been a great form of entertainment with battles that have included Teddy Riley and Babyface,  Young Jeezy and Gucci Mane, Gladys Knight and Patti LaBelle, and Rick Ross and 2 Chainz.

Another popular figure the fans would like to see participate in a Verzuz would be The Game. Over the past year, fans have been searching for his potential opponent. So, of course, the first name that has come up is his former G-Unit Labelmate 50 Cent.

It makes sense with their history together make hit records such as Hate it or Love it, How we do to there diss tracks back in forth. Since then they have squashed their beef and Game as recently as over the weekend shared that he is a fan of 50 Cents work as a producer with shows such as BMF and the Power Series. Both parties also have shared that they would be interested in facing off in a Verzuz battle.

“Maybe Game,” 50 said when asked about a potential Verzuz battle. “Okay, look. He can’t play no records with my voice on ‘em.”

“A Verzuz battle? Probably not,” 50 said. “We back outside. That was something that happened during the pandemic when we was stuck in the house. Now that we back outside, there’s other things to do. We supposed to be creating new history, not being back there.”

“You can’t really talk about 50 Cent and hip-hop without somebody bring up Game, and you definitely can’t say Game without somebody saying: ‘But, oh, 50 wrote all your hits. You ain’t shit without 50,” he said.

“It’s a Game and Fif, and Fif and Game thing. And so, as far as the Verzuz is concerned, that is the only person I would even entertain doing a Verzuz with, because it just makes the most sense and nobody else can really go with me.”

Earlier this year, Game’s manager Wack 100 shared that he has the Verzuz Battle already lined up.

“I got it lined up 50 just been busy with the TV S***, says Wack 100.

However, 50 Cent isn’t the only other artist The Game had beef with that, fans want to see him face off against. Fans would also like to see him square off against Meek Mill. Over the weekend, Wack and Gillie Da Kid shared their thoughts on the possibility on Clubhouse.

“He doesn’t have enough catalog,” says Wack 100.

“Meek Mill doesn’t have enough. F*** the albums, I can go to Game’s mixtapes run and he [Meek] could not keep up.”

Later Gillie Da Kid shared that the Verzuz battle “It would be a good one,” said Gillie Da Kid.

“You gotta remember got records and Game went triple platinum. He went triple platinum in an era where you had to go to the record store to buy the records.”

On Monday evening, Game was on the Clubhouse app in his Arcade room, and was asked about squaring off against Meek.

He replied, “I got too many records and I’m trying not to do all that I get too disrespectful with it. That’s why you don’t see me at award shows.”

As for Meek, He recently donated $500k worth of gift cards to families in the Philadelphia area.

According to a press release, the gifts will include: MacBook Air laptops, Amazon Fire HD tablets, bikes and helmets, video game gift cards, board games, winter coats, dolls, play sets, playing cards and gift cards, among countless other items.

Per Complex.com, the announcement came just a week after Mill teased a NFT event on his Instagram.

“We stepping BIGGER than ever this year for the youth of the city! Special thanks to Robert Kraft, @michaelrubin and @rocnation More details coming soon.”
