Right before the 2022–23 season which will be the 77th season of the National Basketball Association (NBA), with the regular season beginning on October 18, 2022.
A video has emerged from the grave. Footage obtained by TMZ shows, 4- Time NBA Champion Draymond Green and teammate Jordan Poole in a vivid video getting into a practice scuffle. The warrior veteran can be seen roaming the court, clearly agitated.
Unfortunately the video has no audio but you can tell he is exchanging words directed in the vicinity of Poole. Moments later he can be seen getting in the face of Jordan. Poole shoves Green away from him and almost simultaneously Draymond reacted with a ferocious “super-man” jab to the jaw! The two then both fall to the ground as staff and other teammates surrounded them to break the fight up.
The news quickly rocked the headlines! Many Warrior fans as well as NBA fans immediately pushed their own narrative about the incident. Some NBA players took to Twitter instantly reacting. Atlanta Hawks star Trae Young tweeted “Draymond is trying to get to LA. Damn!”
Memphis point guard Ja Morant responded with the “looking eyes emoji” via Twitter. It remains unclear what that punishment for the two players will be, head coach of the Warriors Steve Kerr address the media after Thursday’s practice.
Green did not practice. Green will not practice on Friday, Kerr said. He will return to practice on Saturday. The Warriors front office is actively investigating the video.
Following the fight, the San Francisco Police Department. tells TMZ Sports that it is not investigating the incident and has not participated in the issue.
