Power Book IV: Force’s Joseph Sikora Reacts To David Jacoby Leaving ESPN After 23 Years

David Jacoby recently announced that he has no regrets from his decision to move on from the Worldwide leader in sports [ESPN].

He took to Twitter to share the news with the public after 23 years. He is best known as the co-host of Jalen & Jacoby” with NBA analyst Jalen Rose.

“It’s time,” Jacoby wrote. “After 23 years with ESPN, we have mutually decided to move on. I’ve learned everything I know there, met my best friends there, met my wife there, and leave with zero regrets. I can’t wait to share what’s next.”

As for Rose, “Jalen Rose will premiere a new ESPN podcast to be announced soon and expand his role across ESPN’S NBA studio coverage,” the statement read. “We thank David Jacoby for his many contributions during his team at ESPN and wish him well in his future endeavors.”

After the news was announced Power Book IV: Force actor Joseph Sikora reacted on Twitter, “Congratulations my friend! Change is hard. The best is yet to come!!!!”

Last year, I reported that according to a source, “Highly Questionable and Jalen & Jacoby” could be axed from ESPN programming. Fast-forward a year later both programs have been canceled.

Jacoby was once a part of the Grantland.com platform at ESPN with former ESPN reporter Bill Simmons, the founder of The Ringer, which could be a potential landing spot for the industry veteran. We wish David Jacoby the best in his future endeavors.
