James Harden Could Pass Elgin Baylor, Dwyane Wade For 36th & 35th On All-Time Scoring List, & Reggie Miller In 3’s Against The Bulls
Last month the Sixers and the Nets elected to strike a deal at the trade deadline that sent James Harden and Paul Millsap to Philadelphia in exchange for Ben Simmons, Seth Curry, Andre Drummond, a 2022 first-round pick (unprotected), and a 2027 first-round pick (protected), according to NBA.com.
Since the Sixers All-Star guard, James Harden was inserted into the starting lineup on February 25, 2022. The Sixers have recorded four wins and are looking to make it six straight after beating the Miami Heat on Saturday night without. After the Sixers game against the Knicks on February 27, Harden stated that every game is going to be difficult for them.
“Every game for us is gonna be tough,” Harden said. “We’re new, we’re fairly new, we’re still learning each other. Every game is going to be a learning experience for us, and we’ve got to just find ways to continue to chip away, continue to get better, win or lose. Obviously, it’s better when you win to figure it out, but it’s going to be great tests for us and we’re really looking forward to it.”
Harden is eight points from passing Elgin Baylor for 36th on the all-time scoring list. Harden is thirteen points away from passing Miami Heat great Dwyane Wade. James is also 25 points away from passing Adrian Dantley for 34th on the All-time Scoring list.
After helping to lead the Sixers to a 125-119 over the Cleveland Cavaliers with twenty-five points, four rebounds, and eleven assists. Tyrese Maxi also asserted himself, scoring 33 points with five threes to go along with four rebounds and five assists on Friday night at the Well Fargo Center.
James is also two-threes made away from passing Pacers great Reggie Miller for third on the All-Time Three Points list. The Philadelphia 76ers will host the Bulls Monday night at 8 pm EST at the Well Fargo Center.
