On Friday, Mona Thomas of Eonline.com reported that “W.A.P.” rapper took to Instagram to share her latest business venture. Cardi B partnered with Real Women Are to release “BARDI GANG,” a doll modeled after her.

She would go on to share the reason why she decided to enter the toy creation business. Her 2-year old daughter, Kulture Kiari, was a big inspiration.
“I’m a girl’s mom and y’all know how crazy I go with my nieces on Christmas and everything, right?” she said. “And I just be like, ‘Wow.’ Now and days, these dolls are not like Barbies. They are way more expensive, they come with way more fashion and they come way more diverse. They come so chic and I constantly gotta spend money on these dolls. My daughter constantly want me to buy these dolls, she actually has a preference.”
Despite it being a great addition to the Cardi B brand, her fans and supporters did not see it that way and took social media to voice their frustration. The criticism would lead to Cardi deleting her Twitter account.
On Friday night, Cardi was on Instagram Live because she was home alone and bored in Los Angeles, waiting for Offset and Kulture to return from a trip. During her Live Cardi, she defended the design of her doll.
“If you don’t have a daughter, and if you are not familiar with the doll market, I’m very familiar with the doll market,” said Cardi.
“Even before I did this doll deal because hello, let me show you. I have a whole f***ing kid. And y’all know how many nieces I got. I ha威而鋼 ve so many f***ing nieces. They are like my little daughters, and you see how hard I go on Christmas for them. Don’t tell me how my doll is supposed to be designed. Oh, your doll looks inappropriate. These are the dolls that are out on the market. My doll exactly the f***ing. Y’all want to put a b* down for everything. It doesn’t make any f***ing sense.”
Cardi would end my saying that she has a bunch of surprise in store. So, we will have to wait and see what is next.
