The debate between LeBron James and Michael Jordan has been going back and forth for which seems like the last ten plus years. On national television, Radio, and even in barbershops across the country, so who is better Jordan or James.
One is six and 0 in the finals in six appearances; as for James, he has won three championships in nine appearances.
Michael Jordan’s six championships have become the standard measuring stick ever since he retired for the second time in 1998.
Hall of Famer Dr. J was on the Scoop B Radio Podcast this past August and stated: “I think people always make comparisons to people who are done. LeBron may play another six years, LeBron may play one year, we really don’t know,” Julius Erving told Scoop B Radio.
During an interview with Kevin Garnett, Dwyane Wade the two future Hall of Famers talk about there being Goats of each era. Jordan was definitely the goat of his era, Kobe was the goat of his era, and LeBron is precisely in that position of his era.
Jordan’s former teammate Charles Oakley was recently on the Scoop B Radio and was asked who was better Jordan or James.
“I don’t like to compare because they’re two completely different players,” Oakley told Scoop B Radio.
“It’s like comparing Magic to Wilt Chamberlain,” he said.
“So, two different players right? LeBron don’t look like anybody. LeBron is LeBron. Ain’t never been a guy like LeBron. There’s been guys like Michael, like Kobe. We can compare Kobe to Mike.”
