Warriors’ Insider Reveals The Key To Beating The Grizzlies & Says Stevens Adams Is Barbeque Chicken
After eliminating the Denver Nuggets in the five games the Golden State Warriors face the Memphis Grizzlies starting on Sunday afternoon at 3:30 pm EST. A couple of people that might be in attendance at Sunday’s game is Warriors fans Mistah FAB and UNK on Saturday afternoon FAB was on Instagram Live interacting with his fans.
During the Live, FAB was asked if he was going to the game; FAB planned to fly to Paris but has to catch a redeye in Atlanta. However, his creative juices were flowing on potentially going to the game and still making his fight to Paris.
FAB asked UNK if he wanted to go to the game in Memphis before heading out to Paris? The two decided that they were going to try to get tickets to the game tomorrow.
FAB was also asked, how many games were the Warriors going to the beat Memphis in?
“As long as we the first one to four,” said FAB.
Bonta Hill of 95.7 The Game shared recently, the matchup between Golden State and Memphis is going to be a fascinating season between both teams, and it’s a matchup the NBA community wanted to see.
“Memphis will go the rack and dunk on you. Desmond Bane will hit the floater,” said Hill on Twitter Spaces.
“They will pull up from the mid range so, this is a big time challenge for the Golden State Warriors being the kind of old dogs playing a young an up and coming team. It’s going to be a fascinating series that everybody wanted all season long.”
Hill was also asked how do the Warriors death lineup to the next level.
“First of all, I don’t see Steven Adams playing too much because he’s going to be barbeque on defense. The Warriors will put him in every action like they did [Nikole] Jokic and take advantage Steven Adams. So, I really don’t worry about him, Xavier Tillman, he’s a sneaky little guy and doesn’t play much for Memphis. [However], If you remember the play in game against Memphis at the Chase Center. He made some big shots in overtime and I think had a big bucket before regulation to send that game into overtime,” Hill shared.
“He played tough defense, so he is going to be tough. I don’t know how much the Warriors will go small in the series, but I will say there’s a couple of x-factors here. You need Kevon Looney, he didn’t play very much against Denver, but Looney whether he starts or comes off the bench you are going to need about 20-25 minutes from him. Also, can he just boxout and set solid screens.”
He also added via Twitter, “Keeping the Grizz off of the offensive glass and turning them into a half court team is paramount.”
Sunday’s game between the Warriors and Grizzlies starts at 3:30 pm EST on ABC.
