Tina Knowles Weighs-In On Jay-Z Potentially Owning The Washington Commanders

Tina Knowles was recently interviewed by TMZ Sports at LAX and was asked to share her thoughts about Jay-Z and Beyonce potentially owning the Washington Commanders.

“I have no doubt that anything that they put their minds to, they can do it well,” she said.

Earlier this month, It was reported that Jay-Z could be interested in becoming one of the Owners of the Washington Commanders, It was also reported by People Magazine that Jeff Bezos could be interested in partnering with the rapper.

According to TMZ, Bezos and Jay-Z met secretly to discuss details over dinner. His girlfriend accompanied Bezos, Lauren Wendy Sánchez, and Jay-Z was seen with Corey Gamble.

In a recent Instagram Story post, Sanchez teased before the dinner with a picture of herself and captioned it, “Are you ready for some…” Football is normally on the end of that sentence.

Dallas Mavericks Governor Mark Cuban and the co-hosted Skip and Shannon: Undisputed on Fox Sports 1 Shannon Sharpe voiced their support for Jay-Z.

“I hope they pull it off. Yeah, I hope Jay-Z is involved. I hope KD is involved,” said Sharpe.

“I think we need to get more Blacks [and] African-Americans ownership in American sports franchises. It would be great.”

Cuban added, “They would be great owners.”

In an interview with CNN, Bezos was asked directly about the buzz around his name and becoming an NFL owner.

“I can’t talk about it,” Bezos said.

“Yes, I’ve heard that buzz,” said Bezos, sitting next to his girlfriend, Lauren Sanchez.

“There’s not much I can say about that right now. But she does like football.”

He would later add, “I grew up in Houston, Texas, and I played football growing up as a kid. It is my favorite sport. You know, we’ll just have to wait and see.”
