The Breakfast Club’s Charlamagne Tha God Violates Sacramento, California [Watch]

Los Angeles Lakers legend Magic Johnson was a guest on The Breakfast Club a few years back and shared why he decided to share with the world that he has HIV.

During the interview, Charlamagne said tha God elected to ask Johnson when you first got the information, did you ever say to yourself, it was that nasty b***nasty from Sacramento who did that?

“You think like that, no question about it, but I think what happens is you definitely go back and start thinking, but you can’t trace it,” said Magic.

“You know because remember that can sit in your system the virus can sit it your system for a year two years three years. So you don’t really know but you do alert everybody? Yeah you have to contact everybody exactly that’s really important.”

Speaking of Johnson, he recently had to debunk a story that he donated blood.

For the past few days, a since-deleted tweet made the rounds across social media, falsely claiming that he was donating “his blood to the Red Cross to help underprivileged communities to help fight COVID-19,” according to People.

“I’m aware of the false story circling the internet and to be clear, I have never donated blood,” Johnson tweeted.

However, according to the Associated Press, the photo is from the 2012 PBS Frontline documentary, “Endgame: AIDS in Black America.” In the photo, Johnson is having his blood taken by Dr. David Ho for a routine checkup, not a donation.

The American Red Cross has banned people living with HIV from donating blood at any time in their lives, according to the organization’s eligibility criteria.
