Nets Kyrie Irving On Vaccination Plans, “I’m Just Taking it One Day at a Time”

USA Today

Kyrie Irving makes his season debut on Wednesday night for the Brooklyn Nets against the Indiana Pacers. The Brooklyn Nets started the game off slow but were able to turn things around in the second half and went on to win 129-121.

After the game, the big three addressed the media.

“The game of basketball is happy to have him back,” Durant told reporters after the win.

James Harden added, “It’s special and it felt like he has been playing all season.”

As for Kyrie Irving, “There was a lot of gratitude being out there tonight… me joining right now I feel like I have a voice, but I’m here to add on.”

When asked about him taking the vaccine, he is going to take things day by day, according to Bally Sports Brandon ‘Scoop B’ Robinson.

“I’m just taking it one day at a time. It’s not an ideal situation, and I’m always praying that things get figured out and we’re able to come to some collective agreement.”

The Nets play the Milwaukee Bucks on Friday and will be without Kyrie because the game is in Brooklyn.
