This past Thursday, the Dallas Mavericks spoiled Anthony Davis’s return after missing several games with an Achilles injury. The Mavericks won 115-110; in the process, they lose their all-star forward Kristap Porzingis late in the third quarter with an ankle injury.

After the game, Mavericks coach, Rick Carlisle, discussed Porzingis injury.

“[Porzingis] left ankle, he rolled it [and we’re] uncertain as to the severity,” Carlisle said. “We’re hoping it’s not too severe. I don’t think he’s been ruled out for Saturday yet, but with ankles, a lot of it’s about how the player is feeling the next morning.

“We’ll see where he is tomorrow. He was in pretty good spirits after the game. He is walking. He’s not in a boot or anything at this point, although he has it wrapped with some elastic tape.”

According to  According to Callie Caplan of the Dallas Morning News, Porzingis is doubtful for tonight’s game against the Golden State Warriors with a left ankle sprain.

On Tuesday, afternoon, former Lakers trainer, Marco Nunez discussed Porzingis’ ankle sprain.

“The fact that have him as doubtful is a positive sign. So, I imagine if they would have said he is out, that means there is no chance he can play. The fact that he is doubtful means he is out there moving around and probably feeling better. And usually, from the way we used to upgrade, you would go from doubtful for one or two games to potentially questionable. Two games later and then to probable. When you have an athlete that is injury prone or has an issue, you want to monitor his back to backs. In back to back scenarios, when an犀利士5mg athletes goes and plays one game, it is not necessary how he feels during the game,” said Nunez.

“Often time we want to know how he is feeling the next day. That will determine if he will play back to backs. Right now, Dallas is trying to think more towards the playoffs and make sure he is ready. Also, when I was with the Lakers, we were looking more towards the playoffs; the plan was not for the season. If we were fighting for the eighth seed, then we are focused and trying to get players back on the court. The Dallas Mavericks are in the sixth spot and playing for the playoff.”

This season for the Mavericks, Porzingis is averaging 20.4 points, 9.3 rebounds, and 1.6 assist per games in 39 games.

Mavs.com reporter, Dwain Price, recently reported that Porzingis and Josh Richardson have officially been ruled out against the Warriors tonight.
