Former NBA Trainer Weighs-In On Mavs’ Luka Doncic’s Elbow Contusion

The Dallas Mavericks will take on the Golden State Warriors tonight at Chase Center. According to Callie Caplan of the Dallas Morning News, Mavs all-star Luka Doncic is listed as questionable with a left elbow contusion.

Longtime sports trainer most recently with the Los Angeles Lakers, Marco Nunez talked about Doncic elbow injury. <犀利士 /p>

“Meaning he [Luka Doncic] has a bruise to the area type of thing. So, it is not a big issue and when it comes to a contusion it basically depends on how he feels and his range of motion,” said Nunez.

“Whenever you bruise a mussle in an area when you move it you have some discomfort. So, once his pain tolarance is up there, he is ready to roll.”

On Monday, Luka Doncic was named the Western Conference Player of the Week for games played Monday, April 19 through Sunday,  This is the fourth-time in his career, he has received this award, and the third-time this season.

During this the play period Dončić led the Mavericks to a 3-0 week at home with averages of 26.0 points, 9.0 rebounds, 10.0 assists and 1.7 steals. This season, Doncic is averaging g 28.4 points, 8.0 rebounds, 8.7 assists and 1.0 steals on a career-high 48.3% through 55 games.

The Dallas Mavericks fell to the Sacramento Kings 113-106. Mavs and Warriors play at 9:30 PM Est on TNT.
