Luka Doncic has dazzled the NBA over the last two season, since he was drafted back in 2018. Last season, he won the Rookie of the Year Award over Hawks guard Trae Young and one of the few in the running for most improve this season.

During TNT’s broadcast of the Boston Celtics and Philadephia Sixers game, former Detriot Pistons’ President of Basketball Operation turned, NBA Analyst Stan Van Gundy shared that there might not be anyone more fun to watch than Dallas Mavericks Point-forward Luka Doncic.

“There is a lot of great players in this league, I don’t know if there is anybody more fun to watch right now, than Luka Doncic,” said Van Gundy.

Van Gundy broadcast partner Spero Dede stated that no one really knows Luka’s ceiling and that’s scary.

“Talk about offensive ability, I don’t think Stan, that anyone knows what his ceiling is yet. That’s the scary part when you watch [Luka] Doncic,” said Dede.

Doncic need to improve his shooting because, he doesn’t shoot the ball real well.

“Here is the thing, he still doesn’t shoot the ball real well. I mean he is a below 30s three-point shooter even though he got great range. He is not a great free-throw shooter, but he is a guy in the point all the time, he is going to the line,” Van Gundy shared.

“If he comes a high 30s three-point shooter, and a 80 percent free-throw shooter, he becomes even more dangerous. And the other thing is Spero, he is like LeBron Jame,s and he is even more dangerous as a passer than he is a scorer. Yeah, the guy is going to be a great player in this league.”

On Wednesday night against the Clippers, Doncic helped lead the Dallas Mavericks to victory and in the process breaking Lakers great Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s record for second most points in his first two games in the playoffs.

However, if you ask Doncic about the accomplishment, he will tell you it doesn’t matter to him. All he cares about is the Mavericks secured the win on Wednesday night.

“I mean, we got a win. That’s all I care about. That’s great stats, but we got a win. I knew we could get a win,” said Doncic. “We were already able to fight these guys, and we showed up today.”

On Thursday, ESPN analyst, Kendrick Perkins shared that Doncic and his running mate Kristaps Porzingis have been the best duo in the bubble.

“What’s up ya’ll? Y’all know I was going to say something about that Clippers and Mavs game from last night. I told y’all Monday, Luka [Doncic] and KP have been the best duo in the bubble. They not playing no games at all I get it,” said Perkins. “the Dallas Mavericks don’t have household names it get it, but Tim Hardaway Jr, 威而鋼 and Trey Burke them boys can hoop. Big Boba down there doing the dream shake, man them boys can play. They can play, they are going to compete, they don’t fear.”

Perkins also had a message for the Clippers as well.

“Ay Clippers listen, I hear a lot of barking, but no biting. Luka has hopped over the fence got his ball and walked straight out the front gate. It’s time for y’all to bite. 70 points in two games, I called him a “Baby Magic,’ but he is breaking Kareem numbers right now, NBA history numbers. Come on Clippers it is time for you to bite. Carry on.”

Many fans and experts feel that this series could easily be 2-0 in favor of the Mavericks instead of 1-1. Kristaps Porzingis was thrown out of game one at the start of the third quarter. When a small altercation between Doncic and Marcus Morris Sr. and stuck up for his日本藤素 teammate and received his second technical. KP received his first earlier in the game after being called for a foul, which he thought was a clean block and punched the air in frustration. The official thought, Porzingis was trying to upstage the call and gave him the tech.

The Mavericks and Clippers will play game three of the series on Friday at 9 pm EST on TNT.
