LeBron James Started Myspace & Warriors Started Facebook, Says Rob Parker

The Brooklyn Nets earlier this week were able to add six-time All-Star Blake Griffin after he cleared waivers from Detriot. Over the last couple of weeks, the Nets have been signing free agents to ten-day contracts as they try to improve on the defensive end.

There are numerous reports that if the Cavaliers decide to buyout Andre Drummond Brooklyn is the favorite to sign him as well. If Brooklyn does add Drummond to an already stacked roster. It will be another obstacle for the Los Angeles Lakers, if both teams were to face each other in the NBA Finals.

FS1’s Rob Parker agrees. He was a guest on Instagram Live with Brendan Haywood and Ryan Hollins on Wednesday afternoon and took it a step further. Parker was asked how fearful are the Lakers with additions of the Nets.

“They have to be desperate, and the ironic thing is LeBron [James] is the one who created that team [Nets]. LeBron is the creator of this whole thing, and that’s ironic that he ended up losing to Golden State because of what he did in Miami by forming the big 3. So you know what? I say it like this, LeBron [James] started Myspace, and Golden State started Facebook. Think about they one-up them you had your team, and we are going to add Durant to the mix, ” said Parker.

“You probably could have won a championship with Kevin Durant, Kyrie, and the supporting cast of Brooklyn already had. That was a good squad. They made the playoffs last season without any of them.

So, they were already in a good spot. Harden joins them, now you got Blake, and now you might get Drummond? Come on, dude, it’s long overdue, but LeBron always liked his deck stacked. So, now he is getting his own medicine, he might not win another championship because Brooklyn is in the way.”

Brendan Haywood added: “Ever since I entered the league, the league always followed the flavor of its best player.”

This season for the Lakers, LeBron James is averaging 25.8 points, eight rebounds, 7.8 rebounds, and has the Lakers third in the West with a 24-13 record. Meanwhile, the Nets are second in the east and winners of their last ten out of eleven games without Kevin Durant.
