Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis Receives Massive Complement From Boxing Legend Mike Tyson [Watch]

Boxing legend Mike Tyson is a fan of Tank Davis.

Mike Tyson just racked up huge accolades about the star boxer, saying that if the 28-year-old continues to fight at the current level, he can undoubtedly become a legend in the sport.

Iron Mike threw the massive compliment in Beverly Hills on Friday afternoon while talking with TMZ Sports about people likening Tank to a younger version of itself.

“Tank is a great fighter,” Tyson said “He’ll be [a legend] too if he keeps fighting.”

Of course, Tyson was never shy about his affinity with Davis calling the undefeated boxer, “probably the greatest fighter around now. Following his victory over Mario Barrios in 2021.

However, the most anticipated fight of Davis’ career could be against Ryan Gracia, which according to TMZ Sports could happen later this year.

Speaking of Ryan Gracia, he made an appearance at the 2022 ESPY’s and was asked about fight Davis, he shared, ‘I’m dropping him… That’s easy work.”

After Tank beat Hector Luis Garcia last week, Ryan Garcia tweeted, “No more talking let’s get it on APRIL 15th.”

However, The promoter of Ryan Garcia said through his Twitter account that he has not yet received the contract from Garcia for his fight against Gervonta Davis. According to De La Hoya, if they don’t get a contract from Davis’ managers by Monday, he will begin looking for another opponent for Garcia’s next fight.

“I have no contract,” De La Hoya wrote. “Deadline for me is Monday or I’m moving on.”

Davis added, “If it’s up to me, Ryan’s definitely next.”

“We somewhat got everything, you know what I mean, going in the right direction. So, we just waiting for Ryan to accept on his side, and let’s get the job done.”
