It was announced that the number one pick in the 2022 draft, Paolo Banchero, would participate in former NBA veteran Jamal Crawford’s Pro-Am this Saturday.

Earlier this year while on the All The Smoke Podcast, Crawford said Banchero is a problem.
“He’s a problem,” said Crawford.
“He’s a worker, a gym rat… knows he doesn’t have all the answers so he listens…Whoever gets him is getting a franchise cornerstone.”
Crawford is not the only NBA veteran that feels Banchero do well at the next level. NBA champion and Highline Community College’s own Brian Scalabrine talked about Banchero’s playmaking ability.
“The one thing I like about Banchero, he’s a playmaker, not just a scorer, and I think he will do very well. I think the top picks in the 2022 draft will do very well,” said Scalabrine.
During his only two appearances for the Magic in Summer League play, Banchero combined for 40 points, 12 assists, and 10 rebounds.
