Earlier this month, the Curry Brand partnered with the NBAPA to rehabilitate the emblematic Greg Marius Court in Rucker Park celebrates the rich history of the court and aims to ensure those future generations of players.
During the festivities at Rucker Park, Curry jumped on Instagram Live to show support to the Curry Brand and watch the teams playing at Rucker Park last weekend. He shared that it was a bridge for him to make his way to the Rucker during the live session.
“This is setting up a good stage for me to try make out to Harlem to Rucker Park. So, y’all stay tuned for that. I’m be in NBA arenas for a lil bit longer & will see after that.”
In a recent interview with Sports Illustrated, the newest member of the NBA Top 75 team shared how he would fare at Rucker Park.
“Hopefully, we can find out sooner or later. I personally haven’t made an appearance there, but it’s kind of like a rite of passage, said Curry.
“It might be a necessity to get out there. I would fare well; I know that, but it’s a matter of getting out there, for sure.”
Stephen Curry and the Warriors will take on the Sacramento Kings on Saturday as they look to extend their win streak to three games and start the season 3-0.
