Zion Williamson Is A Tremendous Person, Says NBA 2K Body Double

Zion Williamson has had a busy off-season, but it has it been productive one. He lost a significant amount of weight since we last saw him in Orlando, according to ESPN’s Brian Windhorst.
“I was told that Zion, and I don’t think they really wanted to publicize where he was physically when he came back to the bubble, but I have heard that it’s in excess of 25 pounds that he’s lost from where he was in the bubble to where he is now,” Windhorst said, via RealGM. “He is not as svelte by any stretch of the imagination, but he definitely is moving better.”
It is not clear where precisely the weight of Zion Williamson was during the Bull. But if it dropped to around 260 or less, compared to last year’s list, that’s pretty impressive overall.
“As far as his physical presence, I mean he is huge. He is a big person, but then whenever you see him move, and his momentum is like whoa, you don’t want to have to box this person out. You don’t want to have to try to get in front of him to stop him be3cause whenever his momentum moves, his size is an advantage,” said Sheldon Bailey.
“However, If you have to play 82 games at a high level, and jumping the way he is. There is going to be wear and tear on his joints. That is where we talk about the work preparation on your body. Hopefully, that holds you up instead of breaks you down, but every pound on affects your lower joints, ankle, knees, and back. So, hopefully he can find a nice balance where he is a physically dominate, but also his body feels strong. “
Williamson also a part of NBA 2K21 ‘s next generation commercial rollout for the PS5 and Xbox Series X. When athletes are part of commercial they most likely have a body double to perform the rigorous movements and activities. Bailey was tapped to be Williamson body double for this project. Bailey has also been a body double for LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, and Shaq.
According to Bailey, Williamson is a tremendous person.
” We were working on a commercial for NBA 2K, and this was my first time working with him [Zion Williamson],” Bailey shared.
“He is just a tremendous person, and he is a young guy, who has been expected to be in the limelight, and now experiencing it. You can also see a little bit of bashfulness too, but he seems quite nice and humble to be there.”
On Friday night, the New Orleans beat the Milwaukee Bucks 127-113, lead by NBA sophomore Zion Williamson. He led the Pelicans with 34 points, 9 rebounds, and two assists in 31 minutes of play.
