WWE Smackdown Name Drops Novak Djokovic & Wimbledon A Head Of Sunday’s Final Against Nick Kyrgios


Novak Djokovic hasn’t lost at the All-England Club since he was forced to retire from the 2017 Wimbledon quarterfinal. Djokovic will now have the chance to take his fourth consecutive title at Wimbledon after beating No. In Friday’s semifinals, Cameron Norrie, nine ranks 2-6, 6-3, 6-2, 6-4.

Djokovic is in the major final for the 32nd time in his career while advancing to the Wimbledon final for the eighth time. He will take on Australian Nick Kyrgios in the Wimbledon final on Sunday.

Djokovic now has 85 wins in Wimbledon throughout his career. These 85 victories are tied for Djokovic’s most wins at any of the four Grand Slam tournaments. Djokovic also scored 85 victories in the French Open.

After the match, Djokovic shared that “One thing is for sure, there’s going to be fireworks” emotionally on Sunday against Kyrgios.

Speaking of Djokovic and Wimbledon, on Friday, Smackdown in Fort Worth, Texas, put on a tennis collection fashion show featuring Mace the Wrestler and Mansoor participated in the show. During the broadcast, WWE commentator and former wrestler Corey Graves name dropped Djokovic and Wimbledon.

“I hope Novak Djokovic is watching right now; he could use a little inspiration,” says Grave.

As for Nick Kyrgios, he was able to advance to the Wimbledon final for the first time in his career after Rafael Nadal had to withdraw due to injury.

Something that Kyrgios shared that he was disappointed in, according to ESPN.

Nadal described things as “very tough circumstances.”
