Sage is an independent band from Orlando, Fl. With a career spanning across music, the Sage forms a deep and soulful sound that shines through in Dom Gabasan’s raw vocals and expensive guitar, Adam Sage’s fat bass licks, and Ian Matheson’s too funky rhythms. Their talents are displayed in the release of their recent track, “Love Longer.”
Sage’s “Love Longer” blends Neo-soul, Indie R&B, and Hiphop. With jazzy chords and heavily swung backbeats, it’s a great mix of relaxing yet energetic vibes that’ll keep any Rnb/ Hiphop lover looking for more. The first half of Love Longer is about a couple at a rough spot in their relationship, pondering whether or not to end it or keep smiling. The second half is like a poem about what both people genuinely feel. They love each other very much but are afraid and have personal issues that affect the relationship, such as fear and trust.
