Houston Rockets guard John Wall has not touched the court this year for the Houston Rockets. The team has elected to sit Wall in flavor to help develop their young guards, such as Jalen Green and Kevin Porter Jr.

Bally Sports’ Brandon ‘Scoop B’ Robinson recently shared that Wall wants to play, and there are three teams” eyeing the situation” if he is bought out.

“They still have to find a trade partner, and nothing has become to fruition yet… Will the Rockets and Wall part ways? I’m told that if that happens there are 3 teams who are eyeing the situation, and that includes the Miami Heat, the Milwaukee Bucks, and the Los Angeles Clippers,” said Robinson.

On Sunday evening, Boardroom Host and NBA Insider Jordan Schultz reported the Wall wanted to be the first option in Houston.

“John Wall sees himself as the No. 1 option on the #Rockets, should be return, one source says. That’s his main issue: He knows the team is rebuilding, but he also wants to have the green light, at all times,” said Schultz.

Wall got wind of the Tweet and replied, “Lol that’s a lie.”

Houston was unable to find a team that would take on Wall’s contract. As a result, Wall signed a four-year contract extension valued at $170 million with the Washington Wizards in 2017 and owes $91.7 million for the next two seasons.Wall signed a four-year contract extension valued at $170 million with the Washington Wizards in 2017 and owes $91.7 million for the next two seasons.
