Clippers’ John Wall Breaks Out The Dougie [Watch]

John Wall made his highly anticipated debut for the Los Angeles Clippers on Monday while LA defeated Damian Lillard and the Portland Trail Blazers in their preseason opening, 102-97.

Wall was excited around this one, and the five-time All-Star made sure to break out a familiar dance move for his teammates and fans.

Yes, John Wall did the Dougie right before he took the floor for the first time as a member of the Clippers. It could not have been greater:

You love seeing that. Wall has been held up by injuries in the past two years and he has also made a recent revelation about the shocking contemplation of suicide during his period of detox. It’s great to see him grinning and in a good mood now that he has a clean slate with the Clippers.

Wall played only 14 minutes in the game, coming off the bench for five points on a 1-4 shot. He also logged one rebound, three assists, and a 3-pointer in what was his first NBA game back after a lengthy injury layoff.

John Wall didn’t have a spectacular debut for the Clippers, but it’s nice to see him back on the pitch. You should also note that this is the pre-season and that the Clippers will use this time to facilitate their players’ return.

In an interview with TMZ earlier this year, Wall shared, “I’m just ready to play basketball … that’s it.”

The regular season starts for the Clippers on October 20th against the Los Angeles Lakers.
