Rodney Hood Shoots On Playing With Kevin Love & LeBron James Last Season

CavsNation

Before the trade deadline on last month, the Portland Trailblazers acquired Rodney Hood from the Cleveland Cavaliers for Nik Stauskas, Wade Baldwin, 2021, and 2023 second-round picks.  Hood is averaging 11.3 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.8 steals per game this season.

The Blazers were in Dallas for the second time this season to take on the Dallas Mavericks. Before the game, I spoke with Hood to get a feel to see how his transition to his new team was going thus far.

I have been able to adapt very well here in Portland. These guys have helped me out during the transition period. A lot is being thrown at me, but I have been picking up things bit by bit, and it has been a process. But it has been a good start, Rodney Hood told me.

Hood also touched on how playing with LeBron James, Kevin Love, Kyle Korver, and Jeff Green has helped him grow as a player.

”It going to help a lot and seeing how they reacted in tough situations.  Also, how they lead and it thought me how to play with great players such as Damian, CJ, and I think it will be a more natural process knowing I just played with LeBron and K Love. So, I am looking forward to it, said Hood.

The Portland Trailblazers fall to the Thunder tonight at home in overtime 129 to 121 despite Damian Lillard scoring 51 points.  The Suns are the next up for the Blazers tomorrow night, while the Thunder plays the Clippers tomorrow.
