On Friday night, 2021 Hall of Fame Finalist Paul Pierce made headlines for going on Instagram Live. The former 10-time All-Star was featured smoking, playing poker, and a room full of strippers.

According to Twitter user, @big_business_ shared the Paul Pierce “was requesting an escort必利勁 to 315 viewers on IG Live; I fuck with the vision even though he’s about to be in the ESPN gulag.”

Per Bleacher Report’s Tyler Conway, “Paul Pierce woke up, down $100k and with 12 voicemails from ESPN Human Resources.”

It didn’t take long for NBA fans and the rest of Twitter to ask what ESPN and Disney thought about Pierce’s actions.

Pierce has been an ESPN NBA analyst for the network’s NBA coverage on NBA Countdown and The Jump. He joined ESPN as a regular studio analyst in August ahead of the 2017-18 NBA season. Previously, he joined ESPN’s and ABC’s NBA Countdown as a guest analyst during the 2017 and 2016 NBA Finals.

Earlier tonight, Pierce tweeted “Good Morning” make many people believe that he was just waking up from his hibernation.
