It has been a year and three months since the tragic news that Kobe Bryant and eight other passengers, including his daughter Gianna Bryant passed away in a helicopter accident. They were heading to Bryant’s Mamba Academy to face Jason Terry’s basketball team.
One year later, Kobe’s wife Vanessa Bryant, shared th犀利士5mg is message on her Instagram, according to Ok Magazine.
“I miss my baby girl and Kob-Kob so much, too. ♥️I will never understand why/how this tragedy could’ve happened to such beautiful, kind and amazing human beings,” the grieving mama wrote. “It still doesn’t seem real. Kob, we did it right. Gigi, you still make mommy proud. I love you!”
It has been a rough couple of years in the NBA community; not did we lose Bryant and David Stern at the beginning of 2020. Los Angeles Lakers controlling owner and president Jeanie Buss lost her mother at the end of 2019.
Buss was on this week’s episode of All The Smoke and talked about all-three individuals.
“I’m glad that you said the way we all lost Kobe because when people would say to me, and express their condolences. I would correct them and say the world lost somebody really special. And just him as a friend, and as a motivator, watching him as a father, and a husband. He was a leader and he is irreplaceable and the knowledge that he shared the people. I had no idea until after he passed, I knew he helped basketball players, but he helped everybody,” said Buss.
“He helped everybody in every kind of sport and even me when I think back after my father passed in 2013. He invited me to have lunch, and I met him down in Orange County, and he brought Gianna with him. He said I hope it’s okay with you; I brought Gianna because I want her to see a powerful woman. I realized later what he was doing was motivating me. He was some that I v樂威壯 alued and continue, and I hope what he stood for and the lessons that he taught people like me. I will continue to pass it on to other people. I think his legend will continue to grow.”
Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban shared earlier this year shared Kobe’s legacy would be for the next couple of generations that didn’t get a chance to see him play.
“Mamba Mentality, you set your mind, and you get your mind right. Do the work and go for it by focus, effort, and never quitting. You can be something very special. I think that is the legacy, and I think you saw it with Gianna that she had it,” said Cuban.
“I think that is what is really special about Kobe, the human being. He could con covey it to his family, daughter, and if his daughter could do it, then it’s something they can do.”
The Los Angeles Lakers were able to win their 17th championship in Bryant and Gigi’s honor this past season by defeating the Miami Heat in six games.
