Jonathan Majors Catches A Stray From Raising Kanan Malcolm Mays [Watch]

Jonathan Majors, the acclaimed Marvel actor, is scheduled to go to trial on August 3 following assault and harassment charges brought against him by the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office in March, according to CNN. Majors appeared at a New York City courthouse for a hearing, where Judge Rachel S. Pauley set the trial date. The allegations against Majors involve an incident in New York City on March 25, where he is accused of striking a woman’s face with an open hand, causing pain and a laceration behind her ear, as well as putting his hand on her neck, resulting in bruising and pain.

Majors has consistently denied the allegations through his attorney, Priya Mal. Chaundhry stated that the allegations are false and that they have provided investigators with video evidence that allegedly proves Majors’ innocence. They have also submitted additional compelling evidence to the District Attorney. While hopeful that the District Attorney will review the materials and make the right decision, Majors’ legal team requested an ASAP trial date to expedite the case.

Accompanied by actress Meagan Good, Majors arrived at the courthouse hand in hand. The actor recently appeared in “Creed III” and “Ant-Man and the Wasp” and received an Emmy nomination for his performance in “Lovecraft Country.” He is also set to star in the title role of the upcoming Marvel film, “Avengers: The Kang Dynasty.”

Speaking of Majors, he recently caught a stray from Raising Kanan’s Malcolm Mays on The Crew Has Podcast with Gianni Paolo and Michael Rainey Jr.

During the interview with Mays, he shared that he ran into Paolo for th” e first time and he walked right past him and didn’t say anything. Paolo came back and said they were still filming season one of Raising Kanan, so he really didn’t know who he was at the time.

“Mekai [Curtis] just went to the party at your crib. Y’all just invited him into the crib… Y’all had him over their and I was like don’t go over there with the n****,:” said Mays.

“I meant like we don’t know them, bro, they are going to have you with all the b***es, they going to have you with white girls, you going have pictures, and your out. You going to be Jonathan Majors, straight up I told him that, ay bro, don’t go over there being buddy-buddy. You don’t know them respectfully.”

Season three of Power Book III: Raising Kanan release date has not been released, but it will likely drop in November or December of 2023.
