Bucks’ Giannis Antetokounmpo Talks Brewers Ownership At Premiere Of Disney’s ‘Rise’

Milwaukee Bucks F Giannis Antetokounmpo is one of the most decorated basketball players in NBA history. At just 27 years ago, He is a champion, a two-time MVP, a Finals MVP, and a Defensive Player Of The Year, and now a member of the NBA’s Top 75 team. That’s where Antetokounmpo is today, but after partnering with Disney, and recently premiered his family’s life story called, “Rise.”

The film tells the story of the Antetokounmpo family, who left Nigeria to move to Greece and fought hard before their sons eventually made it to the league. Before going to watch the premiere of this film, Antetokounmpo shared several beautiful pictures on Twitter showing how they came from their humble origins.

While on the blue carpet, Antetokounmpo was interviewed by Nick Hamilton with Nitecast Media a variety of different topics including his ownership stake in the Milwaukee Brewers. Also how he balances everything while focusing on basketball.

“I’m just trying to be as authentic as possible. I’m trying to be me. There’s gonna be so many things so many people that’s gonna pull me this direction. I just try to do two things what can make me better and what can make me happy,” said Antetokounmpo.

“Being an owner of a sports team made me happy that my father is looking from above [and saying] man, that’s a great move. Congrats, I do things that make me happy and better.”

Speaking of the Milwaukee Bucks, they just recently drafted MarJon Beauchamp with the 24th pick. After he was drafted, he was on Instagram Live with Spurs guard, Dejounte Murray. During their Live, Murray told Beauchamp, “Don’t let nothing change you, no money, no fame, none of that s***. Stay true to who you are,” said Murray.
