According to police, a dispensary in Pasadena was burglarized earlier this month, and the perpetrator had to cut through multiple walls to enter the business, take a safe, and cause thousands of dollars in damage. Surveillance footage shows that the masked suspect entered a nearby salon by smashing a window, according to Pasadena police. Based on the timestamp from the surveillance cameras, the police arrived approximately 20 minutes later.
Owner Calls for Accountability Over Charges
The owner of Grade A Dropouts informed LandonBuford.com that despite the frustration caused by theft and damages, his primary concern is paying for repairs, which he estimates to be around $2,000. The owner expressed his preference for the suspect to take responsibility and cover the damages instead of pursuing criminal charges.
“Our intention is not to press criminal charges,” he said. “Instead, we are asking the suspect to take responsibility and pay for the damages caused to our business. We believe accountability can bring closure, and we hope the suspect does the right thing by making amends.”
Similar Crime Reported Nearby
Police confirmed that a dispensary located within a mile reported a similar burglary attempt. The thief left with less merchandise in that situation. The authorities are examining if the two crimes are linked.
Investigators are currently reviewing the surveillance footage provided by Grade A Dropouts, but the suspect has not yet been identified.

“Our focus remains on healing from this incident and continuing to serve the community with safety, quality, and care,” he said. “We are grateful for the support we’ve received and encourage anyone with knowledge of the suspect to come forward.”
The investigation is still ongoing.
