Charlotte Flair has officially made her decision for WrestleMania 41. Flair announced her intention to compete for the WWE Women’s Championship in Las Vegas after winning this year’s Women’s Royal Rumble. Flair discussed the decision on Instagram Live on Thursday morning, during which a fan inquired why she chose Stratton over Rhea Ripley,

“I will explain eventually on SmackDown. You will have to watch why I picked her,” Flair teased. On Instagram, her trainer, Iron University, questioned her choice, to which Flair cryptically responded, “Exactly who… yes, she runs on Charlotte Time.”

On last week’s episode of WWE SmackDown, Flair made his WrestleMania challenge official. The show saw Stratton successfully defend her title against Nia Jax, but she was disqualified. Jax attacked Stratton after the match, putting her at risk for further harm from Candice LeRae. Stratton was temporarily saved by WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus, who ran off LeRae.

Jax’s assist was insufficient to prevent him from delivering a devastating leg drop to the champion. Flair came in and set up a steel chair beside her fallen opponent when Stratton was incapacitated. With confidence, she declared, “The Queen chooses you. I’ll see you at WrestleMania.”

Tiffany Stratton and Charlotte Flair’s rivalry becomes more intense as Tiffany struggles to escape the constant comparisons to the WWE icon. Tiffany is determined to create her own legacy, while Charlotte, a seasoned champion, exudes confidence and dominance in the ring. Candice LeRae’s entry raises the tension, suggesting a possible rematch for the WWE Women’s Championship, a title she once held. The WWE’s women’s division’s fierce competition and high stakes will be showcased in an electrifying showdown, as emotions are running high and championship gold is on the line.

Flair returned to the Royal Rumble, marking her first WWE appearance in over a year. As a multi-time Women’s Champion, she is preparing to face Stratton, the young champion’s first-ever WrestleMania match. April 19-20 marks the start of WrestleMania 41 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
