James Harden Aims for Hall of Fame Career in Business After Basketball

Harden shared, “I want to have a Hall of Fame career after basketball as well, so just making sure the relationships are in place to where once it’s over, I can say thank you basketball, I appreciate you, I love you so much, but now it’s time to get it on.”

“That’s another thing where Kobe was so happy with what he did. He wasn’t trying to go back and play again. He was like, ‘Thank you basketball, it’s time to get the money off the court.’ That’s how I kind of want to be.”

“I want to be done, appreciate everything, and then figure out the business side,” he explained. However, he’s not under any illusions about how difficult that transition will be. “It’s going to be 10 times harder than basketball, but I think I’ll be prepared for it when it’s time.”
