Texas A&M’s Moose Muhammed III Headed To Transfer Portal & Could Land In Colorado With Deion Sanders, Per Source
Last month, Texas A&M wide receiver Moose Muhammad III was not on the field in a 3-10 loss at Auburn. The reason he was benched was wearing an arm sleeve that he wore in several games this season.
“I want to clear the air. I was benched for wearing arm sleeves—something that my teammates and opponents wear frequently for protection. I apologize to my teammates and fans and looking forward to getting back on the field. Much Love,” Muhammad tweeted.
After the game, coach Fisher that Muhammad’s benching was a “internal issue.”
Last week Texas A&M was able to pull the upset against LSU at home 38-23. Muhammad finished the game with five catches for 94 yards and a touchdown, and according to a source, Muhammed is headed to the transfer portal and could be headed to Colorado to play for coach Prime.
Speaking of Coach Prime, he was introduced as the new head coach at the University of Colorado on Sunday afternoon. In his opening statement, Coach Prime shared, we’re going to out-recruit” the rest of the country. “Commitments are already coming on the way as I speak,” he said.
Sanders also stressed that these commitments will come at a price for college boosters in a college football landscape now set by Name, Picture, and Likeness. So far, the CU needs to catch up in leveraging NIL deals to attract top recruits and transfers.
The kids, they want exposure, they want to be on television, they want the (big) lights and action — we’re going to give them that,” Sanders said. “We’re going to give them the followers; we’re going to give them the attention, we’re going to give them the love and the support.
“And we need each and every one of (the CU donor base). Because the caliber of players that we’re getting ready to bring to you, they’re going to want something.”
Speaking of, the transfer portal is reported to be a frenzy come December 5th 2023.
