Raquel Thomas And Luo Luo Thomas Cancel Christmas On Cartier “Duns” Fareed

Earlier in season two of Power Book III: Raising Kanan, Cartier “Duns” Fareed was teaching Raquel Thomas about laundering her money through legit businesses. He also talked about expanding her business into other markets outside New York and New Jersey area. She plans to expand into D.C., Maryland, and the DMV area.
He also made a deal with Lou-Lou to be a partner in the recorded after he bodied Crown Camacho for violating him and after a debt collectors came calling to collect 50k from Crown. Lou-Lou came to Cartier because he didn’t want to go to Raq for the money instead.
In episode nine, Fareed was supposed to be a silent partner, but that was not the case. He was in the studio throwing out ideas to Luo-Lou, but you can see Thomas was frustrated with Fareed. Later in the episode, Raq went to Fareed’s business partner and followed him, asking buy into Raq’s operation, and Fareed’s business partner told Thomas they didn’t have a deal until he was out of the way.
Later in the episode, Lou-Lou and Raquel Thomas plan to kill Cartier “Duns” Fareed. They catch him in the elevator up to the penthouse with the help of the front desk person. He calls Raq to tell her that Fareed is on his way up. As soon as he goes to his floor, the elevator door opens. He gets shot twice by Raq and Lou-Lou, then Raq took the kill shot.
Cartier said “You don’t even trust each other.”
Raq replied, “We family!”
Cartier, “B*** f*** you and your family.”
