Wack 100 Gives DJ Kay Slay Update

Wack 100 was on Clubhouse in the 100 podcast room, part of a new podcast that he is rolling out with CEO Reek. Wack was asked about DJ Kay Slay’s current health situation during the Wednesday discussion.
“He is up and conscious, but he is still partially responsive and not talking,” said Wack 100.
“This f*** covid it is doing other things to us, bro. N**** that go under I’m not saying this is going on with Slay. We have to wait and see, but it’s f****** with our system. N*** are coming back not able to walk and talk and s***. And it takes time for that to come back, not that you will be paralyzed, but they can say it can be six months to a year or a year and a half before you get back right.”
Last week, Wack 100 posted a post on Instagram with the caption that reads, “Pray for my brotha @djkayslay. It’s not looking good. He might be mad at me for this those that know Slay but he needs all the support he can get … Been 14 days fighting Covid and he’s just be put on a ventilator . Keep him in your prayers Please.”
In an interview with Hip Hop DX, Slay’s twin brothers Kwame and Michael Grayson shared that he was getting stronger.
“The doctors told us and mom that his eyes just opened today. It will be a long time before he’s released from the hospital, but a long time is better than no time.”
“He’s definitely not going to die,” Kwame said on January 6. “I’m not going to lie, I was jumping around. I was definitely happy … He was slowly fading away, but God didn’t let that happen. Everything in time and when they found out who he was, they got him powered up again. So he’s up and going. He’s like in a recovery state, but he’s definitely not going to die. You can trust me on that.”
We will keep you updated on the status of DJ Kay Slay.
