Jabrill Peppers Gifts His Mother A New Car For Mother’s Day

With Mother’s Day being next Sunday, New York Giants’safety Jabrill Peppers is ahead of the curve. Peppers gifts his mother, Ivory Bryant a brand new car. Peppers would utilize Instagram to document the series of events.
In April, The Giants traded Probowl wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr to the Cleveland Browns in exchange for Peppers and Browns 2019 draft picks: the 17th and 95th overall in the 2019 NFL Draft. The Giants would turn around and turned the 17th pick into Dexter Lawrence, a defensive tackle from Clemson and then took an edge rusher by name of Oshane Ximines out of Old Dominion.
Back to Peppers, who is a native of East Orange, NJ is able to play in front of his mother and the rest of his family this upcoming season. The former University of Michigan standout used to play his high school games at Don Bosco Prep and Paramus Catholic.
Ivory Bryant was teaching an adult Bible study in her Englewood, New Jersey classroom when she received a call to inform her that her son Jabrill had been traded to the Giants. That’s when her classroom jumped up and celebrated with a roar.
“It was incredible,” Bryant said.
“I told my class, ‘My son just got traded to the Giants!’ There was a roaring sound that broke out in the classroom. Everybody was just excited for me that I can get to so many more home games and have my son close.”
Peppers mother is not the only person that has been in his corner over the years. Vin Brown, who is one of the three members of the Grammy Award-winning hip hop group, Naughty by Nature.
Brown was recently at a guest on the Scoop B & Reg Podcast and his relationship with Peppers is one of the subjects that the trio discussed.
“A lot of people were upset about the trade with Odell. But I’m like: ‘wow, our homeboy gets to come home, man.’ And [he] gets to show out! He gets to show what he knows. I haven’t even spoken to him about it yet, but I spoke to his mother the other day. So that was a good thing. Don Sperling, he’s the marketing guy over with the Giants, so he was like: Yeah man it’s good to see him coming in.’ So they’re going to do a feature on us. Hopefully, they can get to the Super Bowl again, you never know.”
The Giants are looking to bounce back from a 5-11 season in 2018.
