Baby Boy and Transformer actor Tyrese Gibson opened up on Instagram on Thursday morning on receiving her mother’s ashes before the Mother’s Day weekend. The remains of Priscilla Murray were delivered to her son after she died on February 14.

Gibson shared with his audience, “my mother just got delivered to me in a box.”

Murray was admitted to the hospital with COVID-19 and pneumonia, falling into a coma three times before she passed away. The 43-year-old actor and singer shared last-minute photos with his mother at the hospital as he grabbed her hand in intensive care.

“This was the last time I saw my mom in the hospital. Pneumonia, COVID. She went into code blue. God called her home. Look at that smile, look at those eyes,” said Gibson.

The father of two children seemed emotional by revealing the velvet box which kept his mother’s ashes safe. Tyrese showed supporters that he kept his mother’s remains in a rose stem designed like a flower. While sharing the delicate visuals of her mother’s ashes, Tyrese offered his perspective on being a “mother-less child” a few days before Mother’s Day.

“I can relate to mommy issues and daddy issues, but I think if you have any kind of love for me, I want you to understand that if your mother’s ashes get delivered to you in a box It puts everything in perspective.” He shared.

Adding, “I’m gonna pray for healing and peace for you to resolve whatever conflict and issues that you may have with your parents. Because that whole saying that ‘tomorrow isn’t promised,’ you have no idea how real that is.”

LandonBuford.com sends our condolences to Gibson and his family. We also want to wish all the mothers worldwide a Happy Mother’s Day in advance.
