The Seattle Storm with their final pick in the 2023 WNBA Draft, drafted Jade Loville, a 5-11 guard who returns to the Pacific Northwest after closing out her collegiate career at the University of Arizona. Loville, who is originally from Sammamish, Washington, and graduated from Skyline High School, played three seasons at Boise State before transferring to Arizona State and then finishing up at Arizona in the 2022-23 season. Loville had an impressive season at Arizona, averaging 9.8 points per game in 32 games and shooting 36.1% from three-point range. She was also an All-Pac-12 pick at Arizona State in 2021-22, averaging 18.4 points per game in conference play.
The Seattle Storm are known for their strong roster and have won four WNBA championships in their history. With the addition of Loville, they are hoping to add more depth to their already talented team. Loville’s experience as a standout player in high school and college, combined with her ability to shoot from beyond the arc, make her a promising prospect for the Storm. As a Washington native, Loville will also have the opportunity to play in front of her friends and family, which is sure to be an exciting experience for her. The Storm will be looking to defend their championship title in the upcoming season, and with the addition of Loville, they are well-positioned to do so.
