Producer/artist ODXC has been making a name for himself for a while now in the underground rap scene, and he seems to be gaining more attention with each new release. And when listening to his music, it’s not hard to see why. His sound is refreshing, and he straddles multiple genres, which keeps things interesting.
On his new release, “Steady”, ODXC teams up with rising rapper Recky Reckz. The rap/drill track features a hard-hitting drill beat from ODXC and motivational lyrics from Recky Reckz about making his way to the top and turning his life around. The track is complemented by equally impressive visuals, and it’s clear when watching that ODXC and Recky are onto a winner with this release, which is the first single from ODXC’s upcoming EP, In the Dungeon: Chapter 3.
Speaking about the track, ODXC says: “‘Steady’ is a single that will form the ultimate anthem on empowering minds. We wanted to show that anyone can take the steps to shape their future and re-write their own story – no matter the situation and no matter who they are.”
