USA TODAY Sports

The Dallas Mavericks were blown out by 30 in game five in Phoenix. Their backcourt of Luka Doncic and Jalen Brunson combined for 49 points, 18 rebounds, and assists. However, other than Davis Bertans no other Mavericks player scored in double digits.

As for the Suns, Devin Booker and DeAndre Ayton combined for 48 points, 16 rebounds, and four assists. The difference though, they had contributions from the likes of Cameron Johnson, Mikal Bridges, Landry Shamet, Bismack Biyombo, and Chris Paul. They all scored a combined 50 points.

During the game, you could see following Maxi Kleber’s third foul, Doncic had the foul and Devin Booker knocked it out of his hand, ‘I’ll take that,’ said Booker.

Doncic responded with, “CMon man. ‘P*** a***.

Also, in the game, the Suns’ guard was knocked to the ground, then said, “the Luka Special,” after laying on the floor, acting like he was hurt.

The series between both teams have been very chippie. In-game four in Dallas, Jae Crowder can be seen on camera throwing Luka Doncic to the ground, Maxi Kleber received a black eye from Mikal Bridges.

In addition, JaVale McGee, in-game two, told someone from the Mavericks he was going to f*** them up. Finally, Bismack Biyombo & Marquese Chriss’s altercation almost spilled into the tunnel.

After the game, as the Mavericks were walking back to their locker room, Luka Doncic can be heard saying, “Everybody acting tough when they up.”

Dallas is down 3-2 heading back home for game six and will seek to force a seventh match on Thursday night against the Phoenix Suns at 9:30 p.m. EST on TNT.
