Earlier this week, LeBron James signed a two-year extension with the Los Angles Lakers that will pay him $97.1 million, including a player option for the 24-25 season, according to ESPN’s WOJ.

On Friday afternoon, Jamal Crawford announced via Twitter that James would participate in the CrawsOver Pro-AM.

“I thought it was gonna be a movie… now it’s HISTORY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This will be a day like we’ve NEVER SEEN @KingJames WILL BE PLAYING @thecrawsover PRO AM!!!!!!!!!!! It’s O-V-E-R!”

From what I’m hearing, James will be playing on Saturday at Seattle Pacific University. Last weekend when I spoke with Crawford, he told me that the following two weeks were a couple of weekends that you wanted to be at the CrawsOver Pro-Am. Now, the world knows why with the announcement of the four-time champion and future Hall of Famer making an appearance in the Emerald city this weekend.

After Crawford announced that James would be coming, He jumped on Twitter and tweeted, “SEATTLE LETS GET IT!! Been over 15+ years since I’ve been back and played ball! Well the wait is almost over!! The King is Back @JCrossover #TheKidFromAkron.”

Also, after it was announced, Paolo Banchero tweeted out the number one pick of the Orlando Magic, “s/o @JCrossover bringing heavy hitters tha city deserves it!!! tmrw will be.”
