James Harden, the former MVP, was traded to the Philadelphia 76ers on January 13, 2022. This was a shock move for many fans, as Harden had been a cornerstone of the Houston Rockets for over a decade.

Since joining the 76ers, Harden has quickly established himself as one of the top players on the team. He has formed a formidable partnership with All-Star center Joel Embiid, and the two have led the 76ers to a top seed in the Eastern Conference.

Harden’s impact on the court has been nothing short of phenomenal. He is averaging 25.3 points per game, 8.7 assists, and 7.3 rebounds, all while shooting at a high clip from the field. His ability to create scoring opportunities for himself and his teammates has been instrumental in the 76ers’ success this season.

Off the court, Harden has been a positive influence in the locker room, bringing veteran leadership and a winning mentality to a young 76ers team. He has embraced his role as a mentor and has been praised by his teammates for his work ethic and dedication to the sport.

Despite his strong play, Harden and the 76ers have faced some challenges. Injuries have plagued the team, with key players needing more time, and the 76ers have struggled to find consistency on both ends of the court.

However, with Harden leading the way, the 76ers remain one of the top teams in the league and are poised for a deep playoff run. He has quickly become a fan favorite in Philadelphia and has shown that he has what it takes to bring a championship to the city.

Although, James and the Sixers have what it takes to win it all, last season they were eliminated in the the Eastern Conference Semifinals against the Miami Heat 4-2.

Speaking of James Harden, he was recently referenced in a rap battle event by JAG. The bar goes as followed, “N*** you James Harden. Your bum ass aint done s*** in Philly. N*** I’m talking big business,” said the Los Angeles Native.

Later, he said, “I’ll put you in a box in Philly and then break Rocky’s Jaw.”

JAG was signed to Philly hip-hop legend Cassidy and future basketball Hall of Famer Carmelo Anthony at one point in his career.

As for the Sixers and Harden, they are currently third in the Eastern Conference with a 34-18 record.
