Lamar Jackson, the Baltimore Ravens quarterback and the 2024 NFL MVP, is set to enter a new arena: Hollywood. The dual-threat superstar is set to make his highly anticipated acting debut in Power Book III: Raising Kanan Season 4, Episode 9, playing a character named ‘E-Tone’, already being described as a force to be reckoned with.
In a statement, the 2024 NFL MVP tells PEOPLE, “I’m so excited for fans to see me in this new role and thrilled to be a part of Power Book III: Raising Kanan.”
Jackson’s new character promises a similar level of danger and intensity, as he is well-known for his speed and unpredictability on the football field. He teased fans with a chilling description:
“E-Tone is a deadly, dangerous character… you don’t want to get on his bad side!”
E-Tone’s role remains a mystery, but the Power franchise has a reputation for introducing high-stakes, high-impact characters, and E-Tone is expected to be no different. Fans can expect fireworks due to Jackson’s larger-than-life personality and fierce presence.
The rise of athletes crossing over into entertainment is a growing trend, but few athletes enter the game as MVPs. His appearance is a testament to his versatility off the field and adds star power to the Power Universe.
Power Book III: Raising Kanan is still a fan favorite in the Power franchise, and Episode 9 is now a must-see TV. Lamar Jackson’s E-Tone may only be here for an episode, or he might leave a lasting impact on the streets of Southside Jamaica, Queens. There’s no doubt that Lamar Jackson will bring a new level of heat.
