21 Savage on Drake’s New Album Honestly, Nevermind, “He Deserves Credit For Trying Different S***”

Last week Drake dropped his 7th studio album entitled ‘Honestly, Nevermind,’ and not everyone is giving the album a great review. Most were looking for a rap album, but that’s not what they received; most will say that the track with 21 Savage called ‘Jimmy Cooks’ saved the album, which is a reference to his character on Degrassi: The Next Generation.
Last week Drake dropped his 7th studio album entitled ‘Honestly, Nevermind,’ and not everyone is giving the album a great review. Most were looking for a rap album, but that’s not what they received; most will say that the track with 21 Savage called ‘Jimmy Cooks’ saved the album, which references his own Degrassi character, Jimmy Brooks.
Speaking on 21 Savage, he was recently on Clubhouse in The MEEZ-O ESTATES Club.
“You gotta give him credit for probably being the number one artist out and making some s*** that’s totally different. Like a lot of n**** are not going to try to make some s***like that…Period I feel like he deserves credit for the guts to try to do some s*** like that and trying to challenge himself to make some different s***. You can tell he didn’t make that for the money; he still really has a passion for music,” said Savage.
“He loves music. He can make the same hard features from the hottest n****. He can make them albums every day in his sleep type s*** & keep collecting the bag, but he went and did some s***because of his love for music.”
Drake seemed to respond to the negative reviews of the album.
“It’s all good if you don’t get it yet; it’s all good. That’s what we do. That’s what we do. We wait for you to catch up. We’re in here though. We caught up already. On to the next. My goodness. Is calling my name.”
However, Drake does a fan in J Cole, “Liability,” writing, “Man. This album is phenomenal. Point blank.”
