Power Book IV: Force’s Joseph Sikora Shared Possible Release Date For Season Two [Watch]

Season one of Power Book IV: Force introduced the Power Universe to Tommy’s journey to Chicago following the death of his best friend and brother, Ghost [James St. Patrick], at the hands of his own Son Tariq St. Patrick.
The second installment of Force has already been filmed, and Sikora recently shared an extract from the upcoming season.
The show is taking a little bit of a reset with Gary Lennon, who was responsible for the Tommy Egan character will be taking over as the shows’ showrunner this season.
“Our show is now in the brilliantly capable hands of Gary Lennon, who is now our showrunner,” Sikora told TV Line. “I’m overjoyed. The fans have got to be ecstatic… Now you have the true voice of Tommy Egan back. Gary Lennon is the cultivator of that… I could not be more excited about that. However, whatever Gary comes up with — and if that’s knocking boots with Claudia — I can only promise it will make sense. However, that is at this point.”
In an interview with The Wrap, Joseph Sikora shared, “I think the closer we get to Tommy, so many good things were happening to him, you couldn’t touch him,” Sikora said. “He felt invulnerable in some ways. And just when it seemed like everything was going good, things change.“
Speaking of Force, there has yet to be much indication to when the show might make it’s debut in 2023. However, that changed when the lead actor, Joseph Sikora was on Instagram Live celebrating the upcoming release of his other project’ Fear, ‘ which is directed by Deon Taylor. Sikora went live and shared that season two of Force is better than season one and even though Starz hasn’t dropped a release date yet, he had it on good authority that it could drop in May of 2023.
The timeline would match up as Ghost season 3 is scheduled to debut on March 17th of 2023, and with the promotion, there might be a cross over between both shows. A May release of Force would allow the series to transition from Ghost to Force like last year.
