WWE Superstar Says The IIconics Are Being Strategic By Avoiding Real Competition

It was announced earlier tonight by Charly Caruso that there will be a Fatal 4-Way Elimination Match on Raw. The match will feature the teams of Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross, Mandy Rose & Sonya Deville, and The Kabuki Warriors against the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions The IIconics (Peyton Royce & Billie Kay).
It will be the first time in four months that The IIconics will have some serious competition for their Tag Team Championships. The duo beat The Boss and Hug Connection of Sasha Banks and Bayley at Wrestlemania 35 in The Meadowlands in East Rutherford, NJ this past April to become the second Women’s Tag Team Champions in WWE history.
Last month, WWE Superstar Sonya Deville spoke about her and Mandy Rose getting into the conversation for the WWE Tag Team Women’s Championships.
“The cool thing about Mandy and I, we’re fierce and are strong competitors individually. However, we are even stronger when we come together. So, whenever we get our chance to get our hands on those tag team titles they will be ours. So, maybe they are looking out for what’s best for them right now, The IIconics are being smart and strategic by not getting in our way, Sonya Deville told me.
This is not an easy feat for the current tag team champions because The IIconics do not need to be involved with the final decision to lose their belts. Will the champs retain their titles or will this be the night that their luck finally runs out we will see in a few minutes.
